Gate Hinge Assembly (Self Closing Spring Mechanism)

Suitable for CHS / SHS Projects

supply a complete gate hinge assembly kit for self closing gates.  This assembly, which requires fabrication, is very popular for height sensitive installations where the Health and Safety of access personnel is a regulatory requirement such as access platforms and rooftop guardrails.

The gate hinge assembly is supplied as a complete set, ready to weld, including assembly diagram, screws, washers and split pin.  The standard assembly kit is supplied with a galvanized spring housing as standard

Plates to suit CHS (Circular Hollow Section) are supplied as standard. If they are intended for welding to wall plates or SHS (Square Hollow Section tube) uprights, please specify while placing the orders

The main body/housing is galvanised to BS EN1461: 2009. The hinges are self colour ready for welding. The maximum load the spring can hold and still function properly is 10kg. If the load is greater than 10kg, consider using more than 1 spring.
