Stamping is a forming process that relies on presses and molds to apply external forces to plates, strips, tubes, profiles, etc., to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain workpieces of the desired shape and size (stamped parts). Stamping and forging are the same plastic processing (or pressure processing), collectively known as forging and pressing. The blanks for stamping are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips. The world's steel, 60% to 70% of the plate, most of which are stamped into finished products.

Automobile body, chassis, fuel tanks, radiator panels, boiler ladle, container shells, motors, electrical appliances, iron core silicon steel sheet, etc. are all by stamping process. Core Stamping Technologies

The stamping process can be divided into four basic processes:

Punching: the stamping process that makes the sheet material realize separation (including punching, dropping, trimming, cutting, etc.).

Bending: the sheet will be bent along the bending line into a certain angle and shape of the stamping process.

Deep drawing: the plane sheet into a variety of open hollow parts, or hollow parts of the shape, size for further changes in the stamping process.
